Maximum Security. Minimal Maintenance.
The 3000S is the perfect solution to secure any entrance or exit. Its minimal maintenance design guarantees reliability indoors or outdoors — available in industrial hot-dipped galvanized, powder-coated, or stainless steel finish.
All of our full-height turnstiles can function independently or as part of any integrated access control system. The 3000S has been the benchmark for full-height perimeter security since Turnstile Security Systems began manufacturing in Canada in 1980.
The suspended rotor technology protects the base unit from wear and tear, while mechanically fastened arms are individually replaceable without specialized tools — reducing both maintenance cost and downtime over the life of the installation.

Frequently Asked Questions
What makes the 3000S the industry-standard full-height turnstile?
The 3000S has been refined over decades of manufacturing experience since 1980. Its suspended rotor technology, sealed self- centering bearings, and mechanically fastened arms combine to deliver exceptional reliability with minimal maintenance — making it the go-to choice for industrial, perimeter, and government security applications across Canada and internationally.
Can the 3000S be used outdoors?
Yes. The 3000S is available in industrial hot-dipped galvanized finish for maximum corrosion resistance in exposed outdoor environments. Stainless steel (304 or 316) is available for coastal or high-humidity environments. An optional canopy / weathering kit is also available for uncovered outdoor installations.
What access control systems does the 3000S integrate with?
The 3000S integrates with all major access control platforms including Lenel, Genetec, Software House, Honeywell Pro-Watch, Bosch, Gallagher, and CCURE. It supports card readers, biometric readers, QR codes, and mobile credentials through standard relay-based interfaces.
What happens during a power failure or fire alarm?
The 3000S supports both fail-safe (power-off = freely rotating, allowing emergency egress) and fail-secure (power-off = locked) configurations. Fail-safe is the standard configuration for fire code compliance. The unit can also be integrated directly with your facility's fire control panel for automatic response.
How does the mechanically fastened arm design reduce maintenance costs?
Unlike welded arm designs, the 3000S uses mechanically fastened arms that can be individually replaced without specialized tools or welding equipment. This reduces both the cost and downtime associated with arm replacement — a significant advantage in high- traffic industrial environments where wear is accelerated.
What is the throughput of the 3000S?
The 3000S provides approximately 10–15 persons per minute at a controlled pace. For higher throughput requirements, the 3000T Tandem configuration provides dual-lane capacity in a reduced footprint. Contact our team to discuss the right configuration for your traffic volumes.
